Introducing 3DPrinting > > >

A world where we don’t have to go to a shop to buy a gadget, or even wait for delivery after ordering it online; instead, just click “print” and it’s built on your desk in a few hours.

As futuristic as it may sound, 3DPrinting makes this possible already.

3DPrinters have been around for years, but recent developments have turned them from huge, expensive machines, into ones that fit in your briefcase, and can even reproduce themselves, for a price between £400 – £1200.

To create three dimensional products, based on computer models, the printers use different technologies, but most print thin layers of melted material on top of each other, or fuse powder together to form a slice of the object.

The possibilities are endless and the new industrial revolution has begun…
